Over the years the clinic has been extended and is currently nearing the end of a long-term refurbishment process. The College is a registered educational charity and receives no state funding; as a consequence, some of the refurbishment has had to take a little longer than would have been possible with greater funding. However, priority has been given to ensure a pleasant environment for patients to receive treatment and clinic administration will be improving in efficiency with the acquisition of a new computer system for patient bookings.
The clinical staff and students enjoy the historic surroundings and close proximity to the leafy tranquillity of Hampstead Heath. Hampstead itself has long enjoyed a reputation for attracting those with artistic temperaments and non-conformist views, and the Frazer clinic is proud to be associated with such an interesting and stimulating area.
The Frazer clinic is a bustling, lively and caring healthcare focus for the local community, catering for over 25,000 patient visits every year. It enjoys excellent inter-professional relationships with local general practitioners and healthcare trusts and looks forward to another 50 years of serving the local community.
