The British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) was founded in 1936 by Stanley Lief, the eminent naturopathic osteopath. It is a statutory regulated and accredited training facility, educational charity and centre of excellence in Osteopathic education, regulated by the Osteopaths act of 1993 and accredited by the General Osteopathic Council.

Holistic, or naturopathic, osteopathy

Our BCOM clinics provide high quality, low-cost treatment based on holistic, or naturopathic, osteopathy.  This is a uniquely integrated approach, centring on the treatment and education of our patients not only in terms of their particular problem, but also in the wider context of their lifestyle and its effect on them.

Men, women and children of all ages come to BCOM Clinics for treatment of a wide variety of conditions. Our patients are assured of the highest standards of care, with all treatments carried out by clinical students under strict superision of qualified and experienced osteopaths. It is easy to book an appointment; you don't need to be referred by your GP, although we commonly treat patients referred to us by their doctor. Our premises and treatment rooms are comfortable, clean and hygienic and we can usually see you within 24-48 hours.

How holistic osteopathy can help

At BCOM clinics we can treat a wide range of conditions, including muscle strains and joint sprains, rehabilitation and recovery after surgery, back pain, neck and shoulder tension, headaches, siatica and repetitive strain injury (RSI), arthritis and osteoporosis.

Our proactive, self-help approach, using natural methods, is highly effective in treating asthma and eczema, especially in children. We have a weekly clinic offering advice and support for expectant and nursing mothers and run a specialist  Sports Injury Clinic. And in our FREE Children's Clinic we commonly treat complaints such as hyperactivity, growing pains, glue ear, weight problems and concentration difficulties. We also offer specialist arthritis care advice, osteoporosis risk assessment and can help with diet and nutrition management.

Our clinics are located at Frazer House in Hampstead, and Soho Square in central London. For clinic times and how to book an appointments, click here.
