The building now known as Frazer house was generously bequeathed to the College by the estate of the late Hector Frazer and was ready for occupation in 1950. It is grade 2 listed and a fine example of late nineteenth gothic revival architecture. It was built for the painter Thomas Davidson RA, some of whose work now hangs in the national portrait gallery. His studio occupied what is now the reading room for the College library and used the wonderful natural light from the huge north-facing mullioned windows.

Over the years the clinic has been extended and is currently nearing the end of a long-term refurbishment process. The College is a registered educational charity and receives no state funding; as a consequence, some of the refurbishment has had to take a little longer than would have been possible with greater funding. However, priority has been given to ensure a pleasant environment for patients to receive treatment and clinic administration will be improving in efficiency with the acquisition of a new computer system for patient bookings.

The clinical staff and students enjoy the historic surroundings and close proximity to the leafy tranquillity of Hampstead Heath. Hampstead itself has long enjoyed a reputation for attracting those with artistic temperaments and non-conformist views, and the Frazer clinic is proud to be associated with such an interesting and stimulating area.

The Frazer clinic is a bustling, lively and caring healthcare focus for the local community, catering for over 25,000 patient visits every year. It enjoys excellent inter-professional relationships with local general practitioners and healthcare trusts and looks forward to another 50 years of serving the local community.
